Ulf K was awarded the Max und Moritz Preis as best German-language comics artist at the 2004 Erlangen Comic Salon. (The Max und Moritz Preis, named after Wilhelm Busch's picture story, is the highest-profile German comics award, awarded every two years in a number of categories).
