Brought together in defense of Avalon and the British Isles, the Pendragons are uneasy allies. Led by the Black Knight, the group is composed of the remnants of the old Knights of Pendragon group, as well as several other heroes. Willing to die for their beliefs, the Pendragons stand united as England's best defense against threats of a superhuman nature.

Dane Whitman seeks to atone for the crimes of his predecessors by fighting crime in all its forms. Now the defender of Avalon, Dane confronts any and all threats to the Lady of the Lake and her realm. He has been a member of several groups in the past -- the Avengers, Heroes for Hire and the Ultraforce, among them. A former Avenger, Sersi forged the Gann-Josin band with the Black Knight, identifying him as her life mate. The bond was servered after a sojourn through time, but Sersi desires to have it renewed once more. She has joined the Pendragons in hopes that it will bring her and the Black Knight closer together.

Albion (Peter Hunter) Albion

Peter Hunter was a history teacher who gained the powers of a Pendragon (a supernatural force that chooses certain mortals for important acts) just prior to World War I. As Albion, Peter rallied the British troops again and again. After the war, the powers seemed to fade, leaving only youthfulness in their wake. Peter grew older at a slower rate than most but was careful to hide this fact from his friends. In recent years, the powers have been returned to Peter and he now recognizes that being Albion is an important part of his life. Though he is not the team's official leader, his words carry great weight within the group.

Wynter

The mysterious sorceror known only as Wynter first appeared in defense of Avalon during Mordred's recent attempts to destroy the otherdimensional realm. Tall and slender, Wynter has white hair and skin, with glowing red eyes. He is very powerful but rarely chooses to utilize his full abilities. It has been strongly hinted that he is actually someone from the Arthurian mythos given new life.

Union Jack (Joey Chapman) Union Jack

An art school student, general slacker, and rebel from the word go, he inherited the Union Jack mantle after the passing of Lord Falsworth, the original Union Jack. Joey is an uncertain member of the Pendragons, seeing himself as more of a loner. He is fiercely dedicated to his friends, however, and views Spitfire with particular affection. He has a love-hate relationship with his former girlfriend, Romany Wisdom, and frequently engages in verbal sparring with the Black Knight.

Spitfire (Jacqueline Falsworth Crichton) Spitfire

The sister of Brian Falsworth, the second Union Jack. She acted as the super-fast Spitfire during WW II. Recently, a blood transfusion from the original, android Human Torch restored her youth and vigor. Her son, Kenneth Crichton, was Joey's best friend and is currently the villain Baron Blood II. Spitfire has only recently returned to active adventuring and is a streadfast ally of Union Jack and the Black Knight.

Kate McClellan Kate

Kate was a reporter for Astra News (a cable news program) when she fell in with the Knights of Pendragon. She possesses enhanced fighting abilities and the electrical powers. Kate's son, Cam, was briefly possessed by the power of the Pendragon but he was unable to handle the powers due to his youth.
