Douglas Ramsey's Diary [4/18] by Benway Warning: This story is not very nice, but then the world isn't very nice either. If want escape, read elsewhere. This story is not intended for children of any age. Some characters in this story belong to Marvel. Everything else belongs to me. *************************************************** Feb 18/89 People are talking about my Mom at school. Mrs. Rhodes the guidance counselor used me as an example of selflessness in class today, and I wanted to run away. One of the kids teased me about it after and I almost got in a fight. Brian stepped in and I was able to talk my way out of it. I can often talk my way out of things, just like I could talk my Mom into tears. Dad said he was proud of me at dinner tonight and I felt like crying, but I didn't. Boys aren't supposed to cry. Dad never does, except that once. We all watched a Marx Brothers movie later, and Mom even laughed a bit. It really upset me though, and I don't know why. I always liked the Marx Brothers, and Star Trek. Feb 20/89 Had a great time at computer club. I have always been good with computers, but now I am getting really good. I can do more things than anyone, and hack into almost anything. I almost got into trouble when Mr. Warden came in while I was looking through long distance phone records, but I shouldn't have been because he doesn't really care. I think he's a drunk. The exponential function turns multiplication into adding. I've decided to stop watching TV, since it just seems to bug me too much. It's just too much, kind of. ***************************************************
