Certain things read between 2001 and 2002 in the Guardian, the Globe
and Mail, the New York Review of Books, and the London Review of Books.

Several webpages written by raving anorectics who encourage each other
by quoting celebrity BMIs and providing helpful hints re: starving
oneself to death.

Hellsing, an anime.

The comics Uncanny X-Men, The Avengers, Ultimate X-Men, The Ultimates,
Birds of Prey, Young Justice, Batgirl, Robin, Catwoman, and Batman.

The TV shows Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the X-Files, and Mr.
Rogers Neighbourhood.

Numerous characters and one speech have been borrowed from the above
for not-for-profit use.
