Just a short Author’s note/ intro to this chapter because I need to let you know this is definitely NC-17 for sexual subject matter. You as the reader should take note I explored what Joss mentioned had to have happened and why there was no hesitation for Spike to hold Angel’s hand in “A Hole In The World “ An episode in season five of Angel’s series.

Also I have a good friend that at one time said to me, “Why are you so worried about writing that, they are vampires, they fuck who they want when they want?” My answer was, yes but they have souls, so that stops them from just doing anyone anytime. But now these vamps don’t have those pesky things… nothing stopping that true statement and hey, I owe her. This chapter is just a little, there at the end before the pillow talk (You’ll know the part H.) dedicated to her.

There is also a bit of violence, but hey, I think there had been that all along!

Chapter 12 The Away Game

Part One- Fall back and Punt.

Willow sat on the beach and watched the waves roll in. She was going over everything that had happened so far. It was all still so incomprehensible. The others seemed to be so confident they would be fine now. They had her, she would cast the spell and it would be hunky dory, but they didn’t understand magic like she did. Sure, she was powerful but things could still definitely go wrong. Her concentration could be broken, or maybe Wes would have counter-spells to disrupt some of the process, maybe the entire spell. But Buffy’s group had all been so broken by Mia and the team of vampires, how could she tell the others her doubts?

Xander came and sat next to her. “Hey Will. You’ve been out here staring out at the dark, or is it the ocean, for a long time. You OK?”

“At the waves, and I’m as OK as any of us can be.”

“Yeah, I hear you. Get this. I was sitting up there in the house watching a little television, and suddenly I was missing… Anya. Seems with all this big evil we should have her here too. She’d have some wacky idea that would end up helping in some way. It was kind of helpful always having our own former vengeance demon around.”

Willow looked toward him and smiled. “You know, it would be great if she was here, and with her powers. We could just wish them all away.”

“If only it could be that easy I’d be the first one to throw mine out there, and you know how I feel about saying the “W” word even now.”

“Yeah, I know. I just used it. Lucky for me you aren’t wearing any amulets or necklaces with pendants of any type, Xander.”

“Nope, not me. That’s more a soulful vampire kind of gig.”

Willow put her head on Xander’s shoulder. “You know, Xander, if I could I’d even wish they were just back to being those.”

“This place is unbelievable,” said Mia as she jumped on Spike’s back, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist. He placed his arms under her legs and carried her like that as they all walked down the street.

“Supposed to be, love. It’s Las Vegas.”

“I have to admit, this is a wicked awesome place to have for our last Howdy-do before the big fight.” Faith looked up at Mia and grinned.

“And Mia, YOU thought New York was the place to hunt because IT didn’t sleep at night,” Angel added as he smiled at her. “Told you if you stuck with me, kid, there were even better places.”

“The truly ironic thing is that the humans call this their ‘Sin City’, a pleasure capital of the world and well, I would say that we are going to make it something entirely different from a pleasurable place for them,” stated Wes.

Mia slid down off Spike, went in front of the four other vampires, then turned and walked backwards. “That is exactly what the next two days will be about. There will be no pleasure in Las Vegas this weekend, well not for humans. Our friend Mot doesn’t get to play here. He travels more slowly than us and then he has to find a suitable place to stay in L.A., so let’s make it up to him by being particularly brutal here. We’ll bring his specialty to the people of Vegas while he is out of the game.” She laughed then added, “There are only losers in Vegas this weekend, well except for us, the New Scourge. We are going to be the big winners and take home a jackpot.”

Spike made a snort that led to a laugh. “Please, pet. You had me ‘til that bit about big winners and taking home a jackpot. Sounds a bit lame, like something that one of those Scoobies, you know the one with his own tool box, might say.”

The others smiled but just waited in silence to see what would happen.

Mia cocked her head. “I guess it was kind of Xan. Never mind, let’s just go have a blast.” She smiled, holding both her hands out to indicate the Las Vegas strip behind her..

“Let’s hit it, my very smart and with the many languages British guy,” Faith glanced in Mia’s direction. “He writes nasty things in ancient Sumerian on my stomach, and other places sometimes. I’m learning new stuff.”

Wes spoke up. “Yes, you’d be surprised how much and how quickly.”

“Shut up. Let’s go and you can try and prove to me again how boring you aren’t.” Faith slapped Wes on the shoulder.

Wes gave her a half grin, “ Faith, as you just pointed out, you and I know I have proven that countless times. Countless, darling.”

Faith’s raised her eyebrows. “I know, but I want the blood and fang type of ‘no boredom’ tonight, buddy.”

“Let’s go then.”

Wes and Faith crossed the street. Angel walked up and flanked Mia’s left while Spike walked to her right.

Spike looked at Mia. “So, the New Scourge is on the hunt. Where is this part of it headed, love?”

She wrapped her arm in and around his, then took his hand. “Spike, where are you wanting to go? We agreed, none of the major casinos with those bright lights and cameras everywhere: too much thrall work for my poor head, but there are plenty of other places. So tell me, what’s your first thought about where you want to go, in a place like this?”

“Oh no, I’m not the one for this job. I might get myself in a bit of trouble if I told you…..”

Angel laughed. “Come on, Mia. As young Emma you read plenty on Evil Spike. Off the top of your head, if he didn’t want to gamble and he was in Vegas, where would he go?”

She grinned and nodded, “Right, Angel. Do you have a particular place in mind where we could go?”

Angel held out a yellow page ripped from a phone book. “This one looked interesting.”

“Don’t we need lots of cash for a trip like this?” Mia asked.

He pulled out a roll of bills with a large number of ones and a few tens and twenties.

Mia pulled Angel close to her, looping her arm through his. “You thought of everything. Did you want to go there as well?”

He smiled and gave her a nod. “Have to say, Spike and I have gone on the hunt before in a city like this. It’s the type of place we’d usually start. And end for that matter. Isn’t it, Spike old buddy?”

Spike looked over at Angel, remembering some of the many hunts they had gone on together. He was recalling one trip to a bordello that …. No, he shook it from his mind, forgetting it quickly. “Used to start with the whores and their special houses but as we can’t very well look one of those up in a phone book we might as well start at one of the strip clubs.”

Mia pulled his hand to her mouth. She ran her human teeth along his thumb, then looked to him. “I’m getting a lap dance too. You two won’t have all the fun.”

“Of course.” Spike grinned and glanced over to see Angel doing the same.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Mia walked in first, handing the money for the cover charge to the man sitting behind a counter. “Three.”

“That includes also the drink minimum. Cover and minimum here.”

“Oh don’t worry, we’ll have more than the minimum to drink. I’m definitely looking forward to it.”

She turned to Angel, “Now I see why you picked this place. Security blocking passage to get in… and out.”

“Makes it almost too easy.” Spike ran the back of his hand over her temple. “If we have no police or strays to contend with, there’ll be no headaches for you.”

“Guess I’m good for something.” Angel crossed his arms over his chest.

Mia looked up at him and tilted her head, “Angel, you know you’re good for more than one thing. I like how you drive the van too.”

He smiled, “You’re such a bitch.”

“I know. Attractive trait of mine, isn’t it?”

He raised his brows quickly. “Come on, I want to see you getting your lap dance. I’ll imagine that it’s me getting so close to you.”

With a snort, Spike said, “Bloody hell, you two never stop. Maybe I should just let you go ahead and… no, never mind. Just kidding.”

Mia stood staring at Angel and he at her.

Spike put a possessive hand on her shoulder. “I said never mind: it was a joke, a bleeding stupid one. I’m obviously light-headed with hunger.”

Mia, not taking her eyes from Angel’s, stepped back and pressed her body into Spike’s. “I know. I told both you and him: not even when you’re dust. I’m yours, baby.”

Spike slid his hand down over her shoulder, past her collarbone and placed it over her breast.

Angel made a quick turn and headed into the club.

Sitting on semi-circular red velvet couch behind a floor-to-ceiling curtain blocking them from the view of all the other couches on the back wall they could see the stage where a girl danced with a pole. She wore only thigh-high, white vinyl stiletto boots.

“Damn, those things are like four and a half inches high: I couldn’t even walk in them. And could this place be any more of a cliché? Red velvet, sheer curtains, pole on the stage.”

“She’s not walking, Mia, she’s sliding up and down that pole. Pretty good at it too wouldn’t you say, Spike? You do have more experience of these things. You’ve been to more of these places than any of us.”

Spike looked at Angel, and then glanced at Mia and smirked, “Club’s about normal. She’s not bad. Mia , love, does it upset you much that I used to come to these places at one time?”

Her brows came together and she cocked her head. “Did you do it after we met?”

“Once or twice, but it was before we…”

“No, then. I used a BOB. Remember, I told you the story.”

Angels brow went up, “A Bob?”

“Battery operated boyfriend. You get stimulated where you can when you have no-one. So, Angel, how did you get stimulated all those years before you were with that human slayer?”

“Yeah, mate, how’d you get stimulated?”

Just then a girl walked over and Angel made a show of digging out his money. He motioned to her to come close. He whispered something in her ear that the others couldn’t make out, and handed her what appeared to be several hundred dollars.

“Your hunting has been lucrative,” smiled Spike. “I thought you were to share.”

“I have been. Ask Mia.” Angel stared into Spike’s eyes. He suddenly remembered a similar conversation from years ago.

William, I’m to be advised of every penny ye find on yer dead. I find out ye held back any, ye will regret it in ways you’ve yet to experience.’

I told you I bloody gave you it all. I only kept enough to pay for Dru’s dolls and trinkets.’

The memory of what happened next was vivid for Angel. He had back-handed William and the younger vampire had risen again with blood on his lips, looking back defiantly.

Angel licked his lips, remembering that blood on William’s lips. He realized what he had just done in time to see Spike, who was sitting next to him on the strip club’s couch, tilt his head and look at him in confusion. Angel looked away. It was hunting with Spike tonight as they had in the old days that had given rise to this walk down memory lane. They hadn’t really hunted together since Angel had been turned back into a vampire: not that you could count. Spike, although obviously unhappy about it, had allowed Mia and Angel to hunt alone. This was the first official hunt for the three of them together.

The girl returned, bringing a friend. The music was loud so she leaned between Mia and Angel and said,

“Cassie is on her way. Which two of you want to go first?”

Spike, thinking it would be best if Mia was busy while he was receiving his dance, suggested Angel and her.

“No,” Mia objected. “You two go first. I want to learn from this.” Suddenly she reached over and dug around in Angel’s pocket, finding the money.

“Mia!” Angel started to object, then leaned back. “Never mind, take what you want, and take your time.”

She smirked as she pulled the cash out and handed the girl extra. “Sorry, I don’t know your name but Angel started with out you. Could you go ahead and extend both the dances, so that they all end at the same time.

The scantily clad woman nodded. “My name is Absinthe”, she smiled as she took the money and the girls began.

Mia glanced at Angel, “That should work for you, you’re familiar with absinthe, right? Maybe we’ll even get you a sugar cube, light a little fire for the next dance.”

Angel grinned as he kept his eyes on the dancer, “Oh, don’t talk to me about absinthe, because I can tell you some stories that….”

“Shut it, Angel. Absinthe, pet, you show Angel there what you can do to make him keep his mouth shut.” Spike hadn’t taken his eyes from his stripper either

The girl in front of Angel changed her dance just a little bit and it worked.

Mia watched. It was interesting to see how controlled the dancers were, coming so close but not touching. She’d have to use that herself from time to time. She watched each of the men: they too were obviously exercising self-control. Neither girl’s heart rate showed any sign of change until Angel purposely caught his girl’s eyes with his. Mia heard her heart speed up and smelled the change in her body to true desire. She glanced to Spike, knowing he could do the same. She whispered in his ear, “Angel’s got his wet already.”

Spike looked Angel’s direction and gave a quiet chuckle. His grandsire always had a way with the ladies. The girl in front of him came up on the couch and just barely brushed her breast against his cheekbone.

Mia whispered in his ear after his dancer moved again, “Bet I can I get mine that way as fast as he did. You’re not even trying Spike.”

Spike held back the laugh. Demon as he was, he loved the vampire sitting next to him and what she had just said was part of the reason why. He turned and looked at the girl. He concentrated on her eyes, then shifted just slightly showing her that he was excited by her ministrations. He turned his hand on the couch and used his fore finger to make a minute circular motion, then he gave her a smirk and lifted an eye brow. She gave him a dirty look and turned away from him but he heard her heart begin to race and the lovely smell a human makes as it prepares for sex. He turned to Mia, his eyebrow still raised.

Mia grinned as the girl nearly lowered herself onto Spike’s hand.

Spike continued to smile as he looked past her and watched Angel’s girl move her breasts close to the other vamp’s face. His mind flashed back to an odd memory of a bordello he and Angel had visited and subsequently destroyed, woman by woman, room by room. Spike concentrated on Mia’s face to bring himself back to the present.

Cassie walked over and smiled at Mia. Mia made a show of taking off her coat to get comfortable. As the stripper started to dance Angel handed his girl some money and motioned to Spike’s girl too. Angel’s girl walked over and tapped Spike’s on the shoulder, then the two walked away leaving the men watching Mia.

Mia stared at the woman. Spike leaned over, “No thrall.”

“I don’t cheat.”

Mia gave her lips a little lick and left her mouth open. She shifted her hips just a little and then, as the woman came in close, she audibly sucked in her breath as the girl moved her breast millimeters from her own, and caught her eye. Mia made a show of swallowing hard and suddenly she heard the girl’s heart beat increase and smelled the change. She continued to watch closely. Once she was sure that Spike had realized what was happening Mia concentrated on the girl’s eyes. Cassie moaned. Sounds of ecstasy escaped her throat, growing in intensity. A long deep “oh” exploded from her and she fell forward, catching herself with her hands either side of Mia.

Cassie was breathing hard. “Oh my God.”

Mia was leaning against the back of the couch. “We might need something to drink now. Who do we ask? And can we all do this dance thing again? Maybe switch you girls around?”

“NO!.... I mean ah, a bartender and I’ll get the girls, see what they want.” She walked away.

“You are such a cheater.”

“She was wet before I did that. I just gave her the last one of her life. Thought it was a nice thing to do.” She laughed. “That, and it freaked her out. Did you see her face? But, on to other things. Do you think we can time this attack on the girls right? It’s turning me on just thinking about it. It will be like one big giant or…..”

“We get it, Mia,” Angel chuckled.

The girls all returned, the cocktail waitress came, then the dances began again.

“Well?” Spike asked.

“I’m good.” Angel replied.

“Then why don’t you two show them how handsome you really are.”

They all went into game face. The girls screamed only briefly as the vampires drained them. The bouncers were there immediately: one gripped Angel and the other yanked Spike to his feet. Mia quickly dispatched them, not even waiting for either human to fight back.

“Hey, I was going to eat that bouncer.” Angel complained as Mia finished draining him.

“Oh really? You were mighty slow there, big guy.”

“Pet, you’ve just got that uber speed. Please share with us tonight or you will be an unhappy girl when we go home and to bed, I promise you.”

Mia laughed, “OK, sorry.”

The patrons and employees of the club tried to escape but as they had entered Mia had thralled the man at the front door into locking the back fire door and then locking and guarding the front door.

The manager fired a nine millimeter at them but Angel broke his arm and fed on him.

The vampires killed everyone in the club: the pole on the stage ended up with only a pool of blood dancing around it.

Suddenly a shot was heard. A man with a shot gun stood at the stage door, mere feet from Mia, and she had been blown several feet away and was lying on the floor.

Simultaneous growls were heard from both Angel and Spike as they headed for the man.

Mia quickly stood, “Wait, don’t kill him. Damn it he ruined this new shirt. It was designer. Bring him here.”

The man tried to fire again as they approached but only fumbled. Angel took the gun and broke it, then stared at him. Spike slammed him to the wall, holding him by his neck.

“Spike! I said, don’t kill him. It’s my kill and you know it. Besides I want to play. He ruined my blouse.”

She stared at the man. “Do you know what we are?”

The man was sweating. The back of his western shirt was soaked.

“I smell the fear all over you, you’re not making this easy on me. I want to just end it now. But answer me, do you know?”

He shook his head.

She slapped his face. “Liar. Angel, bring me that other gun.”

Angel dropped the guy’s shoulder and the man began to struggle until Spike gripped him.

The other vampire came right back, handing Mia the gun

Mia pulled the clip, checked it and reloaded it. She pulled the slide back and put it back in place. “They call that ‘chambering a round’. Bet you didn’t know I could do that, honey, did you?”

Spike smiled, “You know just about bloody everything. I’m not that surprised.”

Mia started to laugh but flinched with the pain. “Fuck, that hurts. I like pain but I like it on my terms. Never been shot by a shotgun before. Feels different than bullets. Do you remember getting shot with me, Spike? Do you think being soulless makes it hurt less or more?” She looked down and saw the blood had reached her hip. “I’m bleeding a lot and look at this.

She put her hand through a hole in her blouse. She then pulled the blouse away as if she were showing Spike and Angel her entire satin and lacey bra. A hole three inches in diameter was clearly visible in her chest above her breast. There were smaller holes surrounding it, dimpling the outer edges and spreading up to her collar bone. There was a dark gunpowder stain at the edges of it.

“A hole, a serious hole. It’ll heal but in the meantime it seriously puts a damper on this trip.”

“It’s not clean through, the buck shot is still in it, love. You won’t stop bleeding until we get it out.”

“Or worse, you could heal with it in you.”

“Great, Angel, why tell her shite like that?”

She waved her hand, shutting them up. “So sweetie.” She took the man’s face in her hands, “Tell me now, what are we?” She could see the fear in his eyes. “Want me to show you again? No, don’t make me do it. Come on, if you say it it’ll be very cathartic. Ask Spike: I’m all for the cathartic. Get it out and you’ll feel better. Hey, you might even live.” Mia saw the hope in his eyes and smiled.

“Vampires.” he whispered.

With a grin she patted his face. “Did you know that before you shot us?”

He looked away .

“Oh, look at that guys, he did.”

“So if you knew that, why did you shoot me? To irritate me? You had to know there would be serious repercussions. I mean really, hasn’t any one told you not to……”

“….poke a sleeping bear with a sharp stick.” Spike finished..

Angel cleared his throat. “It’s more like that thing: if you don’t hit the bear with the first shot…. run.”

“That’s not it at all, you prat. She is saying that shooting her won’t work. It’ll only make her mad....oh right. I’m bloody not thinking right. I’m a bit upset over here. Mia is shot and still bleeding for christsakes. Makes me all, what is it you say Mia? Tingly? No, fuzzy. Well actually, both, as your blood is all over the place..”

She smiled at him, “You are so cute sometimes.”

Spike clenched his jaw. He leaned in to the guy’s neck. “I could just drain him.”

Mia pulled Spike’s lips to hers. She said into them, “Don’t be mad I called you cute, I like you that way sometimes. Now let me deal with this guy, baby.”

“Hurry up or I’ll finish it. You’re still injured.”

The guy struggled and Angel wrenched his arm. He only grunted with the pain.

Mia looked back at him, her face next to his. “You handle pain well. I like that. Like I said, I myself like a little pain now and then. But you know one thing that does bother me, something I don’t handle well?”

Mia shoved her hand, fingers first, through the mans chest, breaking ribs and puncturing his lung, then all the way through and out his back. As she pulled her hand back out it made a slurping sound. Stepping back she saw that the hole was about the same spot as her own wound was. She grinned. The man continued to make a strange, wet sucking noise as he tried to get his breath.

“I don’t handle having my new designer clothing ruined. I can’t remember, but I think this was Michael Korrs.”

The guy was slowly losing the fight to breathe.

Mia pulled his head up and looked him in the eyes. “Can’t kill us with a shot gun: only a stake through the heart, decapitation or sun.

Angel cleared his throat.

She continued, “Oh right, and normal vampires can be killed by a slayer but sorry, you came across some not-so-normal ones. Also you might like to know we lie, cheat, especially Spike at poker, and steal.”

“I do not.”

She snorted. “He does. Only a vamp or another demon might catch it but he does. Oh right, the slayer did once too. He used to have a thing for them.”

“Quit bloody telling the dying man shite about me.”

Angel chuckled, “Spike, sometimes you are so slow. Just make her stop.” He raised his brows and motioned to the guy with his head..

“By the way, mate, remember how she said you’d live? Well, obviously she lied. Isn’t she evil.” Spike sank his fangs into the man and drained him.

As he pulled back he laid his fist to Angel’s face, “Slow?”

Angel laughed as he looked back at Spike.

It was then that Mia had the mental flash back to the Bordello.

She saw the blood awash in each and every one of the rooms. In the biggest suite stood Angel and Spike, dressed in Victorian clothes.

~ ~ ~

I said ye was to kill them slow, William.”

I don’t like to kill them slow all the time. Some times I like it fast.” Spike laughed. “Come on, admit it, Angelus, you like to do it fast too. It’s not always about the artistry.”

True, sometimes the mess is the art. Look at ye, William. A mess YOU are.”

What?” Spike looked down at himself. He looked over at Angelus. “You’re not much better off than I.”

Ye shirt’s torn. I can see near all your chest.”

Spike looked down again and then pulled the whole thing off, leaving only the suspenders and his bare chest. “Thing was full of blood as well.” He grinned with that.

Angel walked over and “I didn’t say for ye to take it off.” He slammed him to the wall.

Why’d you bloody do that, Angelus?”

Vampires, ye’ll learn we have a different way of doing things. It’s about taking what we want when we want it.”

Spike’s eyes narrowed. “You’ve made that bloody clear already with Drusilla, haven’t you.”

Have I? Let me be sure I’ve schooled you in these vampire ways.” Mia saw Angel lower his mouth to Spike’s. Spike tried to push him away but Angelus had thrust his pelvis forward, grinding himself into Spike. Soon Spike stopped resisting and responded by moving his hips against the pressure.

Angelus pulled back, “There now, I think ye may be getting it. Let me teach you a bit more of the way of the vampire.”

~ ~ ~

Abruptly the mental flash ended and Mia was looking at Angel waving at her. “Mia, hey. Have you lost too much blood? Are you catatonic?”

Mia shook her head then grinned, “No, just one of my little mental flashes. Sorry, it was a good one, a really good one. Hated to come back.”

Spike ran the back of his finger down her cheek, ”Well then, share it with us.”

“No, not yet. I have to decide what to do with the information.”

“Well, my little mental flash says you are coming back to the motel to have a bit of surgery.”

“The guy at the entrance will go with us.” said Angel. “You’ll feed afterwards.”

Spike grabbed her and lifted her into his arms.

“Put me down.”

“Oh no, either I carry you or Angel does. You’ve lost too much blood.”

“Vampire here, Spike, not….”

“Shut up, Mia. Spike’s right.”

“Well, at least go get my coat. I can’t do any fighting in future without that thing.”

Spike nuzzled her neck, “You are so full of ….”

“We vampires don’t do that.”

“Yes, I know, it’s just a saying. I know all about the way of vampires: I taught you, remember?”

“Did you teach me everything? I mean, maybe I should ask Angel if he has anything to add. He seems pretty versed in the ways. He taught you all the ways, didn’t he? Maybe you forgot to show me some.”

Spike looked at her suspiciously, “What does that mean?”

She grinned, “Nothing. I am sure I am the deadliest vampire around – apart from you, because you were taught so well.”

Angel came back carrying her coat. “Let’s go.” They walked to the front. Angel knocked out the guy who was still standing in Mia’s thrall, guarding at the door. He threw his arm over the man’s shoulders and dragged him that way.

“Might as well look legitimate to passersby. You two will look as if you had too much to drink.”

“You think of everything, Angel. You must be well versed in the way of the vampire.”

He gave her a suspicious look, “What?”

“Don’t pay her any attention , mate, it’s blood loss.”

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Angel had dumped the body and now came back into the motel room. He walked in and knelt next to the bed. He heard Spike in the bathroom, running water. “So how are you feeling?”

Mia raised her hand to her forehead and in a very melodramatic voice said, “I’ve been shot.”

He laughed. “I know.”

She used her worst acting but forced tears, “It hurts, Angel.”

He took her hand from her forehead into his hands.

He began to play the game and he answered her in an overdramatic way, “Oh Mia, this is horrible, I don’t know what to do for you, I feel so incapable, I’m usually the one who makes things better and here you are, lying here hurt and I can do nothing.”

“Angel, if I don’t…. She coughed. “Please tell….” She coughed again and turned her head away.

“Mia, don’t go into the dark. It’s hell and trust me, you don’t want to go there.”

From the bathroom door Spike applauded. Suddenly the two burst into laughter.

“Bloody good that. You two should think of a career in films once we get back to L.A. Of course, there will be no outside daytime shooting but hey, there is serious money if you find a good gig… so I’ve heard.”

“Oh, could we, Angel? Let’s pitch some crime drama thing and star in it. Wait, what if you play a tortured vampire who is a P.I. looking for redemption by killing strange phenomena called Demons. I could be the vamp you talk into seeking her redemption. We both know how to act soulful and the other part, the P.I. part, for you should be a snap.”

He gave her his hand and she stood. “Bitch.”

Spike moved over, pushing him to the side. “I didn’t say she could get up. I have last say and I didn’t say you could.”

“I’m all healed, well close enough. You just finished cleaning the blood off. I’m fine, let’s go finish playing.”

“No, you’re not going out.”

“Oh, for crying out loud.” She moved to leave.

Angel blocked her. The three of them stood between the two beds in the room.

“Spike, be reasonable. I’m fine. She lifted her clean shirt and showed him that all that was left of her wound was a few red puckered marks. “Fine.”

Angel shook his head. “Your healing powers with that slayer mixed in are amazing, but he’s right, you lost a lot of blood tonight and….”

“Bite me.”

Spike rolled his eyes. “Good comeback, love.

“That wasn’t a come back, was a suggestion. Taste me and you should be able to tell if I’m up to par.”

“You are not a golf….”

“Spike, just do it.”

“Oh such foreplay you two have. Its really romantic.”

Spike turned and looked into her eyes. “If you’re not, you’ll stay in?”

“Yes.”

He morphed and carefully sank his teeth in. Mia knew it was risky, a long shot but as he did she sent a vision to him. It was the one she had pictured in her own mind after her mental flash at the strip club, one she had created in her own imagination where Spike had gone on to sink his fangs into Angel the same way he had done with her on so many occasions. When Spike pulled away she closed her eyes briefly hoping he’d received the message. She looked at him and he gave her a small nod.

“How did she taste? “

Spike turned and looked at Angel. He stared and looked into his eyes, and the years they had spent together came rushing back. Spike took the three steps and pulled Angel to his lips. His tongue, still holding some of Mia’s blood, entered the other vampire’s mouth, then he pulled back.

“You tell me.”

“Spike?” Angel stared at him.

“I don’t think you had enough of my blood for him to tell. Maybe you should do it again, this time get a little messy over here at my neck.”

Spike snapped around. He’d forgotten she was behind him.

“Please. I’ve always wanted to taste her and she will never let me.”

Angel couldn’t honestly remember if he had tasted her that night in the Cleveland alley, it had been so fumbled and then disastrous.

Spike looked back at Angel.

Mia spoke. “Even if it is the vampire way to take what you want, when you want and how you want, Angel was taught early on that doesn’t work with me. ”

Spike looked at her, “You know about….”

She cut him off with a nod. “We’re vampires, we do what we want…..” she shrugged and smiled “…and fuck who we want. Besides, come on, who wouldn’t want you?”

Spike grinned and bit his bottom lip. After a moment he went back to her neck and let the blood cover his mouth and fill it, then he went to Angel. The kiss was long and, to Mia’s glee, very passionate. She had never realized that she had this voyeuristic streak in her. But they looked so sexy, Spike and Angel: light and dark, outgoing and more introverted, evil and challenging, evil and accepting; both a contradiction of the other but both the same in many ways. And in their different ways they were both hers.

“Except for that added wonderful taste of Mia, this brings back memories, William.”

Mia cleared her throat. “Uhm, Spike, we have spoken about something involving our bed that you have adamantly said will never happen but I was thinking maybe you would reconsider.”

He reached out, grabbed her hand and yanked her hard to him. “You are a sly one, aren’t you Mia Taylor? You sent me a mental flash to get your own way here, didn’t you? Well, it won’t work because I’m not ready to let him get inside you or personally taste you.” Spike pushed himself between Mia and Angel.

“That’s alright, Spike. It seems we’ve found an acceptable compromise on that already,” said Mia.

Angel smiled, “I can live with that compromise.”

“Compromise?”

“You, baby.”

“What?”

She smirked, “You’ll get all the attention. I know for a fact you’ll like that.”

Spike looked between Mia and Angel. Looking at Angel he said, “ And you don’t taste her or…..

“Penetrate Mia in any way, got it.” Angel flicked a brow up. “ But am I allowed to penetrate other places than Mia?”

Spike looked off but then back at him and nodded.

“And me? Am I allowed to touch Angel in any way or…?.”

Spike grinned, “It’ll be torture for him if you do. He’ll need sexual release somewhere if you can touch and he can’t do much of anything to you in return, so sure. It looks like I’m the one benefiting from this.”

Mia smiled, “The demon in me is being nice now. You may end up drained of all your blood, lying on the bed, all shriveled up.”

Spike gave a small laugh. “I may end up drained and shrivelled even if you don’t take any of my blood.” He grinned at her and she laughed. Then suddenly she went quiet and stared at Spike. She lifted her brows and looked at Angel who lifted his brows in response.

“What?” Spike asked.

“I was thinking that Angel might like to see what goes on in our bedroom sometimes, and then he could show me what it was like for the two of you.”

Spike held up his hands, palm facing her. “Oh no, this is not going to be like that.”

“Well no, honey, not the whole time.” She ripped his jeans from him.

“I used to do that too. I used to start with his shirt.” They had backed Spike up against the bed and Angel reached for his shirt: as he did Spike grabbed Mia and threw her to the bed, pulling her blouse open so that the buttons popped.

Angel laughed and moved up behind him, grasping Spike’s waist. “Well, look at this. Spike turned a bit and pulled, allowing Angel to fall back on the bed.

Mia just laughed. She lay there with Angel on one side and Spike on the other. She looked at Spike. “Do you want me to go off now and come back later, so that you two can get started and….”

Angel put his hand on her now bare stomach. “No, don’t go. The sire situation is a bit confusing. I used to have that role but now Spike should have it.”

“Oh, that is so Victorian vampire. This is the new millennium. Besides, maybe we lied, maybe I was your sire. We are vampires, we do lie.””

Spike shook the bed with his laughter. “That’s a good one, love.” He bent his elbow and put his head on his hand, then looked at Angel. “I thought this was about feeling good: let’s just concentrate on that.”

Angel moved his hands up Mia’s body and over her bra-clad breasts. He looked down into her eyes. “As Faith says, you are wicked smart, but hey, got to admit that platinum haired demon of yours just made a lot of sense.”

“Well, let’s get busy, Angel, and he can be partly yours.” Mia lifted herself on top of Spike to lie on his other side, putting him between herself and Angel. She lay quietly, propped on her elbow, and watched as Spike made the first move by kissing Angel again. She watched as he placed his hand over Angel’s jean clad mound and began massaging it. As Spike himself was already naked from the waist down his own hard-on became apparent. It stood out, bumping into Angel’s stomach. Mia thought that she’d prefer to be admiring his chest, and figured that Angel would as well, so she ripped Spike’s shirt off. Spike glanced back at her.

“You’ll bloody owe me a new one, you know.”

Mia nodded.

She lay there, thinking that she could continue to be a voyeur, but although she enjoyed it was not satisfying her. She knew now she was more of a hands-on type of girl. She stood up and looked down. The men’s hands were moving. Spike had managed to get Angel’s shirt off part of the way but the two were really, wait, hey, they looked as if they were both nearly finished. Ok, that was it. This time was a freebie, they hadn’t done this in what? Like almost two hundred years? At least there was none of the penetration Angel had mentioned. Mia was almost jealous of Angel, thinking about that. She’d never have that privilege, well except for her fangs. Wait, she curled up around Angel and carefully sank her fangs into his neck. After all, no-one had said she couldn’t taste him.

Angel had felt that long lost but familiar hand on his cock. He had gripped Spike’s and together between feeling up and down one another’s bodies and erections they were both near orgasm. By sinking her fangs into him, Mia sent Angel’s seed flying. In doing so he triggered Spike’s.

Angel groaned. “Mia.”

Spike looked at him. “Oh now, we will have a problem with this if…..”

Mia popped her head, still in demon face, over Angel’s back and looked at Spike, “What kind of problem?”

He smiled at her, used his thumb to wipe a bit of blood from the corner of her mouth, and licked his thumb. “I didn’t see you over there. None, love. Tastes lovely doesn’t he?”

“It’s ok.” She went back to human face and wrinkled her nose.

“Good answer, pet.”

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The three vampires went at it all night and then on into the very late afternoon.

Spike pulled from Mia and turned, and Angel wrapped his mouth around Spike’s hard cock, paying careful attentions to all the ridges. As Spike had already spent time within Mia it didn’t take long until his cum was washing down Angel’s throat.

Angel looked over to Mia. “It’s hard to decide who tastes better, you or him I could go once more then you could have a go with it and I could get a taste while I ….…..”

“No, I’m almost spent. One more time and I want it to be me in Mia.”

Angel pouted, “Why in her?”

“You’ve had your share, Angel,” Spike smiled.

Angel grinned, “True.”

“Blood play or not?” Spike looked down at Mia.

“Your call, baby. You said it’s your last time.

He bent and took her nipple in his mouth.

Angel dragged his finger backwards from Spike’s balls while nuzzling his neck.

They had done many positions this night and day but surprisingly not this one. Angel wondered how they could have missed it.

Spike leaned down to run his tongue along Mia’s lips and clit. Angel decided to follow his lead and ran his own tongue over Spike’s hole, around the ridges.

Mia looked up at him over Spike’s shoulder. “Don’t forget. Use me. I’m definitely wet enough to use as lube.”

Angel grinned. Earlier, the first time, he had planned to use some lotion from a basket on the bathroom sink, but Mia had realized what he intended and had reminded him that she produced a natural lubricant.

Mia herself used her hand and finger to prepare Spike’s passage for Angel.

Angel timed his entry of Spike to coincide with Spike’s entry into Mia.

Both of the men groaned: Mia moaned.

With each thrust the three of them slowly came to an explosive orgasm, and Mia wrapped her legs around them both as they sank down on her.

Spike turned to look at her, his head resting on the pillow next to hers. “Good thing you don’t have to breath.”

Angel chuckled. “How much do you think we both weigh?”

“Well, if I wasn’t already dead….”

Spike made a sound that sounded suspiciously like a giggle. “It’s Angel, he….”

“…he’s a big guy, but you like that. He’s still in there: that proves it.”

“Cheeky, that’s what you are.”

“Well, you and Angel do that pull out you find so enjoyable, and I’ll wait patiently because I hate it when we separate.”

Spike raised an eyebrow. ”How do you know it’s enjoyable?”

“Perhaps it’s because you moan in ecstasy every time I do it, Spike.”

Spike shrugged.

Angel got to his knees again and began to pull back.

Spike indeed began to moan, but Mia captured his mouth with hers. She nipped his tongue and filled both their mouths with blood. They parted, each licking their lips.

“You’re so beautiful.” Spike smiled.

“So are you. Most beautiful thing I ever saw. Like a fine statue by……”

“Oh, for crying out loud”, said Angel. “Please tell me you don’t do this every time before you go to sleep.”

“…… .Michelangelo. Like a sculpted statue of alabaster.”

“You win, wench. I’ll get it.” Spike stood up and went to the bathroom. He came back with a wet towel and a dry one. He handed her the wet one. Mia wiped all the dried cum from her, then handed it to Angel so that he could do the same, then Spike finished up. Mia stood up, pulled the blankets back on the other bed and crawled in. It was fresh and clean and had none of the first bed’s smells and stiffness.

Angel stood, “She is so smart. Just change beds. That’s why you two always get two beds every motel we go to.” He motioned for Spike to get in behind Mia.

After Spike was in Angel crawled in behind him. Spike pulled Mia to him and she moved his hand to her breast, bringing his arm round her. Spike moved down, wrapping himself around her completely. Angel simply moved close to Spike and laid a hand on his hip. When there were no protests he moved it to the other vampire’s stomach. He remembered sleeping this way with him before, and it seemed to be acceptable now. He listened and heard as Spike’s constant breathing stopped. Angel loved how vampires did that: loved how when they were awake they subconsciously breathed in a human manner but once asleep they stopped. He could still hear Mia breathing and he decided to quit himself to let her have her peace and feel she was finally alone. He had a feeling she was waiting for that. After he ceased breathing he watched as Mia, with careful ease, turned over. She moved up on the pillow a bit and stared down at Spike, then reached out and brushed his cheek.

“Do that often? You know, the watch him while he sleeps thing? Not very Uber evil demon of you.”

She looked over at him. “Yes, I wonder why I do. Do you believe demons love?”

“Yes.” He stared back, willing her to see what he meant.

She didn’t say anything. She continued just to look, then a smile came to her face but she said nothing.

“Mia, what are you thinking about?”

“Caramel Apples.”

“What?”

“Remember, and I know how we hate to think of that time when we were humans, but remember how those first weeks after the human you found out the human me was pregnant? One day I mentioned that I thought my cravings were starting because I couldn’t get the idea of eating a caramel apple out of my head. I told you that I’d looked at the super market for one but they didn’t have any ready made and the only way I could get one was to peel all those small caramel candies, melt them and then dip the apple in it, so I wouldn’t be having one anytime soon.”

Angel smiled, “I remember that. We were pathetic as humans, weren’t we.”

“Yes, you might also remember you drove all the way to the Santa Monica pier and bought me six. Angel, sometimes it dawns on me how well you know me. There are things about me you know that Spike might not even know. Why did you never use that knowledge? Angelus would have. I don’t understand how you could step up at Wolfram and Hart and proclaim your protection of me when really as a demon you should have wanted me out of the way so that you could take over.“

“I’m not Angelus. Oh, I still remember all his exploits and his feelings but I was a different man when I was made a vampire this time. I don’t understand it. Maybe I retained more humanity because Spike sired me.”

“I think the lurker had something to do with that. Sorry.”

“It’s you, Mia. Any one else crosses me, Faith or Wes, I wouldn’t put up with it and you know it. ”

“And Spike. Looked like you’d put up with Spike tonight.”

“Yeah, well, I have a theory maybe his capacity to love crossed over to me. Drusilla’s psychic abilities went to you so why couldn’t Spike’s crazy way of loving come to me?”

She reached across and laid a hand on his cheek, “Poor Angel. At least tonight proves we’re still deviants.”

He chuckled and shook Spike, rousing him just a bit. Spike snuggled back against Angel and pulled Mia to him.

“Hunt with me tonight, will you?” Angel moved his head so he could kiss her hand. “Don’t tell him I just kissed you.”

She looked him in the eyes without saying anything. Finally she said, “That part of tonight didn’t really seem fair.” She gave him a small smile and turned over.
