First and foremost, mega thanks to my proofreaders. Without you all to help, I would have never gotten this done like I did. Thanks, and thanks again. Some of the best lines and ideas belong to them.
Second, an explanation. I've always felt that the X-books were a soap opera. Face it-- these people are well off, living in tight quarters with tension everywhere. Add in a wild history, love triangles, and complicated family relationship, and you've got the makings of a soap that I pay ten dollars a month to indulge in. And I've written this story to reflect my opinion.
One last little note. There are people in this story who don't appear in the Marvel comic books. Pine Valley people belongs to "All My Children." If they can't be found in Pine Valley or Salem Center, then they belong to me. "On The Verge" is sung by John Michael Montgomery, "Change My Mind" by John Berry, and "My Girl" by the Temptations. I've used them without permission, but it's no use trying to sue me, I'm broke.
