Evenin' all, Yep, I thought it was about time I did another one of these. Important stuff to know - this story will be five chapters long, and I hope to be posting the chapters weekly. However, real life has this annoying habit of getting in the way sometimes, and not all of it's finished yet so I might miss out a week or so. Due to the nature of this story I'll only be posting chapters on a Thursday - the Bouncer won't let me in any other night *grin*. Some of the chapters contain mild swearing, and the discussion of some disturbing events. It's all very mild and I doubt anyone will be offended by it, but I'll put a warning on the chapters just in case. The story will be archived as it's posted on my homepage at http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/7746 Anyone else who wants to archive it is free to do so, only drop me a note to let me know, ok? Also, each of the chapters is pretty much a self-contained story, and if anyone only wants to archive certain chapters, due to content specific web-pages or not wanting to carry anything adult, I'm happy for you to do so as long as you provide a link back to my page. Many thanks to everyone who's already provided feedback on this for me - it's probably the most bizarre thing I've written yet, and it wasn't easy. Particular thanks and offers of whiskey go to queenB (parkhurst@worldnet.att.net), who as well as being a superb beta-reader went way bayond the call of duty by writing a significant part of chapter four for me. Ruth Maloney's story in that chapter was written by queenB folks, and in about two days as well! Now that's impressive... What else...?Oh yeah - this story references a variety of different characters and universes. If anyone's confused by anything, feel free to mail me and I'll try and explain. However, I'm *not* gonna tell you what it was the Bouncer did in chapter four. Mysteries aren't meant to be explained... Anything else? Oh yeah. Enjoy! Phil - had fun with this one. -- ********************************** Phil Foster | ian@wire.co.uk "Moines a pint a scrumpy!" http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/7746 **********************************
