"This is Trish Tilby for WBRC News.
"Citizens of New York were appalled yesterday when the New York Police Department released a bulletin saying that a serial murderer -- the second reported in this week alone -- has been active in Middleman Grove, only a few hours’ drive south of Apple Bend, where alleged killer George Forman was apprehended only days ago. This information was brought to police attention by a Middleman Grove native, Raymond Keller, who confessed two days ago to being an accomplice to his brother, Jason Keller, in the murders of over three dozen women. Early reports indicate the possibility that the Keller brothers were actively hunting women as far back as 1991.
"We’re here on site as law enforcement officials extract bodies from Keller’s dump site in the Middleman Woods. This procedure has been going on all day without sign of surcease. A source within the department has released, on condition of anonymity, the information that Jason Keller himself may have also been found dead along with approximately two dozen women. If it is indeed Jason Keller, the cause of death is not yet known.
"Raymond Keller is in prison awaiting trial as of yesterday evening. Commissioner Grant released early this morning that the prisoner owns a junkyard, which he used to dispose of the automobiles driven by the women he and his brother attacked. Commissioner Grant claims that Raymond Keller kept license plates as grisly souvenirs of his activities, and Grant feels that these plates can be used to assist in identifying the victims. At this point no names have been released with regard to--
"This just in: An unconfirmed report indicates that Raymond Keller, confessed accomplice to the murders of over three dozen women, was found dead in his cell this morning. Sources claim that--
"The report is now confirmed. Raymond Keller is dead, apparently by suicide. It appears that Keller hung himself in his cell last night, using his bedsheet as a rope. Commissioner Grant will be making a statement on this instance any moment now to explain how Keller could have managed this suicide while under guard, and we’ll take you to there as soon as he’s ready to address the public. Once again, it is now confirmed that Raymond Keller, confessed accomplice to the Middleman Murders, hung himself in prison last night while under guard of the New York City Police Department.
"While we await Commissioner Grant’s statement, here’s a view of another victim being removed from the dump site, rumored to be a natural ravine in the woods. We haven’t yet been able to access the site, but we’ll do so as soon as possible. As you can see there are several trucks from the Medical Examiner’s office here -- these trucks have been coming and going all morning -- and officials are now loading the latest victim of this massacre into a truck for transport. Once again, this is a view of the -- yes, the eighteenth body removed from the woods here, another victim of the Middleman Murders. Confessed accomplice to these murders, Raymond Keller, was found dead in his cell this morning..."
