From: "macha" Date: Sun Jan 12, 2003 2:41 pm Subject: POEM: becoming [the period is 7.11 Showtime, but from the perspective of 6.13 Dead Things; the poem arose suddenly today from a conversation i was having in BAPS with Diane Berger, but is also quite possibly Kly's vengeance on me, because i denied it when she called another poem of mine romantic, but in this instance i'm not gonna have a leg to stand on, so i'm really sitting here blushing now... macha macha@ntl.sympatico.ca] becoming starlight so bright lives in the vacuum of her eyes recalled rewalled clawed back to life which she denies to feel not real caught in that moment when she dies she calls he falls life out of death, but so unwise undead unsaid all of that feeling in her eyes heartsong lifelong dies on the pavement where he lies heartsease they freeze caught in the fate she still denies despair they tear shredding the tissue of their ties undead unsaid dying to change himself inside someday they'll say truth past their catalog of lies still free they'll see life is the gift their heart denies still called unwalled she will go down to save him, wise in time sublime life in the heart of death that dies reborn untorn full of the glory of sunrise that need made seed born once again, it never dies starlight so bright lives in the wonder of their eyes
