This story is the (long-promised) Limited Series based on the events of my earlier story, "Love Never Dies", in which Rachel seduced Kitty, having been herself initiated into lesbianism by Kate Pryde in the future .......

In my "Excalibur Redrawn" timeline, Kitty turns sixteen during their trip to Genosha. Here, it's before her stopover in Westchester during Illyana's illness (well, she'd better be sixteen during this series, considering what I have her and Rachel doing......).

True Loves - Epilogue

The stunning redhead lifted herself on one arm and watched as her young lover pulled a tee-shirt on over her slim, firm body, her small buttocks clad only in blue panties as she wriggled the recalcitrant piece of clothing down to her waist. "Morning, lover ..... up early, aren't we?"

Kitty picked up a brush and began to comb out her long, chestnut hair, still not putting on her jeans just yet - she knew damn well where Rachel was looking, and had decided to play along. "I just felt like making sure I was looking presentable when we fly out." She turned to face Ray, her young face serious. "This isn't going to be easy, is it?"

Rachel swung her long legs out of bed, her red negligee riding up over her thighs as she got up to cross the room to the younger girl. Rachel took the smaller girl in her arms. "No, it won't. Some of them will disapprove, some will make jokes about us, some might even try to break us up. So, who do you think we'll need to watch out for, and who'll back us?" She kissed Kitty's neck, gently, tenderly. Lovingly.

Kitty sighed. "Well, the Professor's the wild card - will he be old-fashioned and object to us, or live up to his creed about the different living together peacefully, that's the sixty-four thousand dollar question, right? I think Logan'll back my right to choose, so will Betsy. Ororo I dunno about. After all, I still wonder about her relationship with Yukio." She looked round at her lover. "How about Scott and Jean?"

"I dunno either, kiddo. I mean, I know I'm not their little girl, just someone from an alternate timeline, but they might still raise a fuss. Then there's Nathan - I've no idea how he'll react to his 'sister' being with another girl. And I can guess how some of X-Force, like Roberto, might react." Then she glanced at the slender brunette. "You didn't mention Peter in your list."

Kitty gave another sigh. "That's because I have no idea at all how he'll handle it. I sometimes think he still gets the idea we can be together again, when there's no chance of that ever happening." Then she straightened up. "We're just going to have to tell the X-Men about us, and they'll have to decide for themselves how to deal with it. There's no point worrying."

"Nope, guess not." With that Rachel picked up their packed bags using her telekinesis, and they went out of their room to descend the stairs to the hall. The rest of Excalibur (minus Feron and Ky'lun) were waiting for them, apart from Brian, who was warming up their transport plane for the flight to Westchester.
