Subject: [OTL]: [Cable] Bork Bork Bork!! Date: Sun, 30 May 1999 08:23:43 EDT From: Trumpetlee@aol.com This idea came up while I was watching a Muppet tape with my friends. As I watched the Swedish Chef segment, I turned to them and said "Whoa!! Check it out!! It's Cable!!" I dunno why, don't ask me. I don't think Cable would actually sing the Swedish Chef theme, it's a little out of character. Disclaimer: Nate, Rogue and Rachel are Marvel's. The Swedish Chef and his theme are property of Henson. No money, don't sue. Bork Bork Bork "Dee dee shmeer, de do de do, de shmeer, de do de do, dee shmeer, do do do do do bork bork bork!" Nathan Summers stood at the kitchen counter in the X-Mansion humming this as he looked down at the soon-to-be doughnuts. They needed holes, and Rogue had asked him to make them. She'd shown him how and left the room. Nathan, who is usually either called Nate or Cable, didn't like the way Rogue had shown him. He'd remembered watching a very good episode of "The Muppet Show" with his baby sister where the Swedish Chef had punched holes in his doughnuts another way. Nate was rather fond of that other way. He'd filled one of his guns with blanks and was ready to go. He chuckled to himself. "First we take de moofin," he lifted one, threw it up in the air, and shot a hole through it. "Den we shootsy pootsy de moofin." He kept doing this until all the "moofins" had holes in their centers. Nate put away his gun, and strolled out of the kitchen singing "dee dee shmeer de do de do, de shmeer de do de do, dee shmeer do do do do do bork bork bork!" He walked past Rogue. "Did ya have any trouble with those doughnuts, shugah?" she asked. "Nah," Nate replied. "Piece of cake." She shrugged and headed to the kitchen. Nate walked past eight-year-old Rachel. "Did you do it?" Nate nodded. They high-fived. "Guess what?" Rachel said. "What?" "I gotta new Muppet tape!" Nate smiled. "Race ya to the TV." He began to run for the sitting room with Rachel right behind him.
