Everyone else is Marvel's or DC's. NO money. Don't sue please School's In... I Think part 25 The last one!!! Wow!!! :Lee Tybird He ran up the girls' stairs to Angela's room. She was still asleep, as it was Saturday, and nine in the morning. He knelt down beside her bed and whispered something in her ear. Very slowly, her eyes opened, and she smiled at Jesse. She got up, put on a pair of jeans with her nightshirt, and got a coat, and shoes. The two then ran over to the boys' dorm, and quickly knocked the still sleeping Dave out of his bed. "AH!" "SH!" Jesse snapped. "We have work to do." They tiptoed across the hall to Joey's room, and Angela grabbed a foot. She pulled him out of the bed, and onto the floor. She then began to drag him, the other two boys following closely behind them, snickering. "The hell-?!" They dragged him down the stairs, and he cursed all the way. Dave opened the door, and Jesse lifted Joey by the shoulders. Angela grabbed Joey's other leg, and they tossed him out the door, into the snow, that had fallen the night before. "WHAT THE HELL?! I'LL KILL YOU!!" Later that day... "Here are the shovels." Rachel blinked at her father. "Shovels?" "You guys are shoveling the driveway." "What?!" cried Angela. "That sucks!" "Big driveway," Scott replied. "If all twelve of you are working together, then it'll be fine." They mumbled as they grabbed their coats and hats and such, and headed outside. They were surrounded by miles and miles of white. "Bloody hell," Connie muttered. "Might as well get started," said Serena, digging her shovel into the snow. They began to shovel off the driveway. Jesse was hit in the back of the head with a snowball. Upon turning, he saw Joey turn the other way, whistling. Jesse smirked, picked up some snow in his shovel, and dumped it on top of Joey. "What's up with them?" Sharona asked Rachel. "It's tradition," Rachel replied. "Upon the first snowfall, Angela, Dave, Jesse and Joey have a prank war. They pick one target, and I guess this year it's Joey." "I'm getting in on it this year," Connie told them. "I'm on Joey's side." "Me, too," Rachel nodded. They each picked up snow in their shovels, and tossed it at Jesse. "Hey!" Jesse tossed snow at both of them. "No fair!" "We're on Joey's team this year," Rachel smiled. "Three on three!" "Fine!" "Hey!" cried Justin. "I want in!" "He's with us," Connie said. "Fine!" Dave said. "We get... Rena!" Serena looked up from the rather large hole she was digging. "What?" "Rena, what are you doing?" asked Joey. "I need some place to put the bodies," she smiled. The other eleven kids stared at her with startled faces. Serena rolled her eyes. "Come on guys, I was kidding." "Sure she was," said a voice behind them. They turned to see Ellery, Pam, Alix, Joe, James, and Vanessa standing there. "Wow," said Joey in awe. "They actually came!" "Huh?" asked Connie. "Serena invited them over," Rachel replied. "After what happened, I'm surprised you all had the guts." Ellery shrugged. "Thought it would be cool." Serena raised an eyebrow at Ellery, and looked him over. Large, black trench coat, shades, black clothes. She blinked, and squinted, and tried to remember someone who looked... well, something like that. Ellery smiled. "You guys have to see what I got my hands on," He said. He opened up his coat, and pulled out a large gun. "Eep," Joey squeaked. James sighed. "He's not gonna shoot you." "We hope," Alix added. She smiled, and waved at Dave. He blushed a little, and waved back. "Check it out!" Ellery picked up some snow, and loaded it into the back of the gun. He pulled the trigger, and the snow came shooting out in balls. They went flying towards the hole Serena was digging. Justin stared in awe. "I like." Dave walked over to Ellery and looked at the gun. "Hmm... I think I might be able to duplicate this. Got the plans?" Ellery nodded. He smirked. "I'll e-mail 'em to ya." Dave smirked. "You realize this can't get around yet, right?" "What?" asked Pam. "That you all are superheroes?" The twelve nodded. Vanessa shrugged. "It's not like no one had a clue. Come on, you guys are the only ones who stayed in the school when the rest of them got herded out. Everyone who was there knows, but the cops don't. And neither do the teachers, so your asses are safe. For now." Serena stared at Ellery more. "Hey, Ellery? What's yer last name?" Ellery smirked at her. "One you might remember." Serena's mouth dropped. "MONAGHAN!!!!" Ellery smiled. "Yup." Serena walked up, and dragged him away from the others. "We need to talk." The other kids blinked and shrugged. That's when everyone saw it. Connie held a finger up to her mouth for silence, and dropped the wad of snow down Angela's pants. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! COOOOOOOOOOOOONNIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Connie laughed, and ran. Angela scowled, her wings breaking through the back of her jacket, and she flew after Connie. "I love snow," Rachel commented. In the back yard... "What are you doing here?" Ellery shrugged. "I got shipped off here to live with my mom. Y'know, Dad's The Hitman. He drinks, smokes, kills people. Mom got worried." "Sucks about the divorce... I remember, sort of. How old were you again?" Serena said. "Nine." "Did you recognize me at the mixer?" Ellery smiled. "Yeah, but it was funny to talk to you like we'd never met." Serena rolled her eyes. "No wonder you wanted to come with. Hey, you consider joining the school?" "Hell, no," Ellery replied. "No spandex! And I don't even have any powers." "If you hadn't noticed," Serena snapped. "We don't wear spandex." "I'll quote my dad," Ellery told her. "'I'm free-lance.' You need help, you call me, but I'm not doing teamwork crap." Serena gave him another eye roll. "Fine. How is your dad, anyway?" "He's fine. I get occasional letters an all. I'd probably get more, but Mom goes through my mail." "Wonderful." "Innit?" Ellery sighed. "How's yer dad?" Serena looked down. "Fine. I hope. He and Alfred are living in that big house alone, now, and I'm kinda worried. You think you could have your dad check up on him or something?" "I can try." "Thanks." A shoveled driveway and a snowball fight later... The kids milled around the rec. room. Ellery, Pam, Joe, Vanessa, Alix and James had left an hour before, and things had calmed down considerably. Surprisingly, the TV wasn't on. Nor the radio, or any of the computers that were hooked up. They'd gotten a fire started, and were sitting around. Justin and Connie both had their acoustic guitars. Connie was furiously plucking out the fast version of "Layla." Charlie was sitting on the edge of the couch with his upright bass, trying to keep up. Jacen had his bongos, but at this moment, he was watching in awe at the two who were doing an incredibly good job of sounding good, and staying together. Rachel sat at the piano that had just been moved into the room a week before, waiting for her solo. The rest of the kids, sat listening, but also doing different things. Joey was gazing out the window. It had started snowing again. Angela sat with a pencil and a sketch book, making a caricature of Jacen, with his bongos. Sharona sat with a book. A normal, quiet, peaceful evening. Things were a little more active in the main building... "I dunno... I never trusted Frost..." "Give her a break, Logan," Jubilee replied. "She's been with Gen-X without turning for a long time... Anyway, the Massachusetts Academy is still open for anyone with a wad o' cash, and these kids could use some semi-normal surroundings! I think it would be good for them to go to a semi-public school." "She's right, y'know," Pete said. "They can't stay secluded ferever." Scott sighed. "I don't know..." "Hey! My team went there, and look how we turned out!" Jubilee offered. "Let's see," said Domino. "Angelo is a dirty old man-" "He was like that when he got there!" Pete smirked. "Jono went suicidal-" "Not anymore!" Jubilee cried. "He got his face back!" "Paige turned into a workaholic," Nate said. "Not since she and Jono got married!" "Nope," said Domino. "Now she's just a sex maniac, like Kitty and Pete, but we won't tell Sammy, will we?" Pete brooded, and Kitty blushed. Jubilee rolled her eyes. "I'm serious, people. I think it would be really good for them..." "I don't know..." Charles said in uncertainty. "You're cutting them off from the world, and it's not what they want," Ev told them. "They want to be as normal as possible, and this could really help them..." Erik sighed. "I hate to say this, Charles, but I think they're right..." Charles looked up at Erik. "You really think this is a good idea?" "It's something we should look into," Pete shrugged. "I don't mind Connie training under Emma. Kitty shifted. "I do." Pete sighed. "Kitty, we've been over this. She's clean. She's not evil anymore. She's fine." Kitty sighed. "Well... if you trust her-" "I do." "Then, I suppose we could look into it," Kitty finished. "But if ONE thing goes wrong-" "We'll get 'er out, I promise." Jubilee turned to the others. "That's two parents convinced. What about the rest of you?" Scott sighed, and looked at Jean. "I guess... well, we could try it... I'll call some of the other parents." They stood in front of the Massachusetts Academy. It had taken them a full three weeks to work things out, and get each kid to agree, and convince their parents that nothing was wrong, and they were just going to a school that was more adequate for them. Connie hugged both her parents. "I'll call tonight." Pete sighed. "You better. Don't do anything t' give me a cardiac, alright?" Connie smirked. "That's no fun. Rachel gets to do it! Why can't I?!" "Because my arse isn't as tight as her dad's is." Kitty rolled her eyes. "Don't do anything illegal." "Me? Illegal?" "Yes, you." "Fine. Be that bloody way, then." Jonothan Starsmore came up behind Connie. "I'll make sure she doesn't get inter to much trouble." "Says he who might well be the king of trouble-making," Pete muttered. "Not so!" Jonothan said with dignity. "Did I ever cause trouble when I was here?" "No," Pete replied. "Ya caused trouble with yer mum back in London. Ya almost her a heart attack when ya showed up at the Crown when you were eight years old." "Okay, so I was a trouble-maker. I'm not anymore." Paige cupped her hands around Kitty's ear. "Don't listen to 'im. He's awful." Kitty snickered. "And, over course, my wife is saying bad things about me behind me back," Jonothan sighed. "Again." Pete rolled his eyes. "Get used to it. By the way, John says high." "John?" Jonothan asked in surprise. "Uncle ConJob John? Gemma's Uncle John?" Pete nodded. "The very same." He paused and grinned. "Oh, I'd watch out if I were you." Jonothan looked at him in confusion. That's when it hit him. Literally. Justin Constantine tackled Jonothan to the ground. "Not too pleasant." "Now ya can't say I didn't warn ya." "Shut it, Wisdom." "Hey, Jono!" "Hi, Justin. Can yer get off me?" Justin smirked, and got up. Sean Cassidey made his way out the front door of the academy, and was pounced by his son, Joey. "Joey! Why did ye do that?!" Joey thought for a minute, sitting on top of his father's stomach. "I dunno. I guess I just felt like it." "I missed ye, too, Boyo." Joey smiled. Off a little ways, Sharona hugged her father. "I'll call, and write, and all that good stuff." "Y' better. If y' don't I may have t' drag you back t' New York." Sharona smiled and rolled her eyes. "Right, Dad." She turned to Rogue, and the two waved uneasily to each other. "Take care, Shugah." "You too, Rogue." "You'll visit, right?" "Of course! You know I will." "And you'll eat?" "Yes, David. I will eat." "Not just Twinkies." Hank sighed. "I will eat three full meals every single day." "And you'll take breathers from the lab?" Dave asked. 'Parents are so hard to manage,' he thought. "Yes." "And you'll wash behind your ears?" Hank raised an eyebrow. "Okay. Never mind." "Do not cause too much trouble, James." "Okay, Mom," Jesse replied hugging his mother. "You know I won't cause too much trouble." "I know," Ororo said. "I just worry about you sometimes. You'll call?" "Yeah." "Okay. And you'll do well in your classes I hope?" "Yeah, Mom." "Good." "And you'll be good?" "You know I will, Dad." "Scott, you know she'll be fine," Jean said. "Yeah, Dad," said Nate. "She'll be fine. Won't you, Ray?" He winked at her. "Of course I will," Rachel replied in a squeaky voice. "I'm just a little angel!" Domino smirked. "Sure, kid. Whatever you say." Rachel playfully stuck her tongue out at Domino, who did the same. Scott sighed and smirked. 'Things will be all right,' he decided. The large van holding the adults drove off, and the kids waved after them. Emma finally came out, and looked upon her new batch of students. "Let's get aquainted, shall we?" Okay, that's the end of "School's In." Hope you enjoyed it! And yeah, I'm not done yet. Still got another series to get started on! C ya Next time!!
